Cricket is a popular sport played in many countries around the world. It's a bat-and-ball game that involves two teams, each consisting of 11 players. Here's some basic information about cricket:    Objective: The primary objective in cricket is to score more runs than the opposing team. A run is scored when the batsmen hit the ball and run to the opposite end of the pitch. The team with the most runs at the end of the game wins.    Playing Equipment:       Bat: Batsmen use a cricket bat to hit the ball.     Ball: A hard, cork-based ball covered in leather is used for .   Stumps and Bails: The wickets consist of three wooden stumps and two bails placed on top. Batsmen aim to protect their stumps while fielding teams try to dislodge the bails.   Pitch: Cricket is played on an oval or circular field with a rectangular 22-yard long pitch in the center.    Teams: A cricket team has 11 players, which include batsmen, bowlers, and all-rounders. Teams can also have substitutes.
